I'm not too keen on the Rekler's Action. Use an action to generate a scan token and you get +1 Defense Die on a ship with only 1 agility. That's a hard thing to use in a game where offense is everything, action economy is king, and evasion is left to those that can cloak. If it was something like "Action: When you target lock an enemy ship, you may assign a scan token to your ship and gain +1 Defense Die while you have a scan token next to your ship." That would be something to write home about! The rest of the ship? Eh. Standard Galor class.
The captains though...

Gul Madred insures no more enemy captains! That Captain is AWESOME! Just make sure you are running the 1st Officer card too.
I can see Subspace Carrier Wave being in a LOT of fleets. It's potential to shut down multiple crew and captain cards is too good not to use. Oh, and look! It's not unique.
Aft Weapons Array is a great card. 4 points for a 4 dice attack out my rear arc? Yes please!
The stinkers: The crew. Corak. Spend an action to get +3 captain skill? Yeah, it's only 2 points, but there are cards that are NOT actions that increase your captain skill. Or shoot first. There are few situations that I can think of where I would want to spend an action to increase my captain skill instead of a target lock, battle stations, or some other ability. Glinn Tajor's discard ability is a bit... meh. I can see the combo they were going for in this set: Use the Rekller's ability to give you a scan token and +1 Defense die, then shoot someone at range three with Glinn discarding. Hopefully, you have Gul Lemic on the ship and the enemy captain is lower skill then 4 (Really? Makes him only good against generic captains...). But that's only good for one attack at range three... I dunno. I think I'd rather just Target Lock and let them get +1 evade dice for range 3 then all that. In other words, this could be a good combo for taking out that extra little ship everyone takes to meet the minimum requirements for 3 ships in a fleet.
Gul Ocett has one redeeming feature: She only costs 2 points for a skill 3 captain with a pretty good ability.
Gul Lemec's ability would be a tough one to use unless you pump him up with an Admiral and other +captain skill card. Even then, that's a lot of points to spend just to get +1 attack die. I think I'd rather look elsewhere for extra attack dice or better yet, a free target lock or something.
Standard Attack Formation and Coded messages are pretty situational at best, and that many points for a discard is another tough sell that isn't all that useful. I suspect an
FAQ soon, or we will be seeing 12 attack dice Transphasic Torpedoes. Or maybe just 7 attack die Quantum Torp's. Requires 3 ships, and oh look! All the
OP's require three ships now! What a coincidence. And it will not work against Borg- no front firing arcs. Way to go Wizkids! /cheer
Coded messages- 5 point discard to use on one of your ships outside range 1-3? Uh... sure. When every other synergistic effect in the game requires you to be within 1-3 of a friendly ship, we get this card that says you have to be outside range 1-3. I'm confused on the wording there. Why doesn't it say outside range 3? Because if a ship is at range 2, it's outside range 1, so the card should work, right? Yeah, common sense says ships beyond range three, but... incoming
