So still thinking about and tinkering around with what army to go with. got to looking at all the new chaos marine and daemonkin models (dark vengance box set too). still trying to min//max my purchases but not sure i can do that with chaos as the models are just so damn wicked looking

the chaos lord and dark apostle would ride with the plague marines behind the vindi's moving forward. hoping i have enough AT with powerfists and all the LC fire from land raider, predator, 2x hellbrutes. hoping the warpfire on vindi's makes sense being anti-horde.

really like the feel of the death guard troops from what i read and remember earlier. plasma weapons on the plague marines worthwhile since FNP or should i not bother?

any thoughts, tips, suggestions, advice etc is really appreciated - again still thinking about what army to go with and somethign i can build in stages - 500/1250/1850 etc etc.

CSM cannot take land raider crusaders (only normal ones - and they don't get potms)

You want a heldrake

You don't want warpflame or icons on plague marines. Power axes are mostly fine on terminators (I like to give them combi plasma).

Spawn and biker/juger lords are way better than foot lords.

Dark apostles are pretty bad. Look into a helcult if you like cultists and helbrutes.

Drop the plasma pistols on the plague champions and give them combiplasmas, plasma pistols are an utter waste of points. So is the icon of despair, fear is almost as worthless.

aye my bad on Freudian slip with the LR crusader. It's just the standard land raider CSM get. was looking at loyalists right before posting the list. looking at models and seeing if there were bits n pieces that would be cool to corrupt and convert from/with.
