Hey guys, got a tournament coming up and I need some help preparing.


I was thinking:

1x Max'd Harvest formation

1x CCB fully loaded

27x scarabs

3x Full units of wraith w/ whips



There really isnt much anti flyer, so I know i have issues there. The scarabs and wraith will deal with mechs and anything on the ground. Other than that, I think the only thing im missing is AA. Which i might make a necron Firestorm Redoubt for jus that prupose.

I imagine this is unbound?

If so, its an ok unbound list, but obviously you wont have much fun against like 7 flyrants.

You didn't mention the troops before. Wraiths and Scarabs share the Fast Attack slot so you'll need at least 4 troops and 2 HQs in order to fill two CADs.

Units of scarabs without a host of Tomb Spyders to replenish them are pretty bad for the points. Any strength 6 weapon will remove entire bases and strength 6 template weapons will be even worse, removing 2 bases per hit. In combat they're annoying but you already have 24 Wraiths for that.

If you want to stick to annoying melee then Flayed ones would do better. They're tough to kill and deal more wounds per point than scarabs in melee. Also, they're elites, so you can stick to a single CAD.

It's a very boring list either way with 24 Wraiths. A CCB isn't giving you much either. Maybe a Destroyer Lord would serve you better since they're much better in melee now than a CCB and it looks like that's where you'll spend most of your time.

If you want to go with some shooting instead of melee and make it a battleforged list, then throw in 2 units of Immortals for 85 points each and some Heavy Destroyers from Heavy Support.

ill admit it wasnt very well thought out. Although i will say that spyders would need to be there to replenish lost bases. Good point there.

Dont normally play Crons so this who robot thing is new to me. I do have 6 night scythes.... for like no reason at all...
