A few years back I came across a forum thread that a guy jad made detailing the insane amount of work he put into his SB2C Helldiver.

The thread was in excess of 28 pages.

One of the things that was very unique about the modeller was his incorporating a cartoon sailor-like character that he used to narrate the picture.

There was a ton of great tips and techniques....wish I had saved the link.

Another thing I remembet: he was from California and had done work for the motion picture industry.

If anybody can help me track this down....you will earn my eternal gratitude!

Yeah...the detail and work he put into that is truly unbelievable.

Though it isnt 40k, some of his techniques, ideas, conversions, etc can be applied to building 40k vehicles especially.
