My pot of reikland fleshshade turned a ruddy red colour after two weeks of disuse, giving a model a ruddy sunburn effect. I've shaken the pot thoroughly. even watered it down a bit - it doesn't change the effect. And no, I didn't mix the wash, I clean my brushes after each use.
Instead of providing shading, now it's just a spread ruddy effect on the model. Anyone else get this problem?

Anyone suggest a different brand of flesh wash?

Have you stirred with a paint stirrer?

I've tried several other flesh shades, including the Vallejo gane coluor Fleshtone 73.204 - it's awful! I went back to GW, it's far, far better.

Never had that problem, but you could pull it back with a wash of purple maybe (not too strong mind).
