Trying out the new Bloodthirster with the White Dwarf dataslate instead of as a Daemonkin ally. Think it covers up the main weaknesses of the list?
HQ:
D-thirster of Insensate Rage
2 x Greater Rewards
Lord of Change
2 x Greater Rewards, 1 Lesser Reward
Troops:
11 Pink Horrors + Iridescent Horror
11 Pink Horrors + Iridescent Horror
Fast Attack:
18 Flesh Hounds

Soul Grinder of Slaanesh

Originally had lots of trouble with dealing with Imperial Knights, Walkers, and their ilk. Does fine against Eldar and Tau though, but I'm wondering if it was worth dropping a Herald and a bunch of other things for?
Has a respectable 7 warp charge so I can at least summon a unit per turn. Flesh Hounds seem to be a most wonderful thing to summon given how fast they are and a unit of 5 can still tear through small Xenos squads like a knife through butter.

Well good effort getting that many flesh hounds together..
I dunno I would still want the grimoire to give the BT a fighting chance at making it into combat (and surviving the first hits)

How is that dataslate a legal choice for a Codex Daemons detachment? Are there rules on the dataslate saying that you may select the model/profile as a HQ for a Daemons detachment?
I don't remember seeing any such rules, which would make it an illegal choice.

They all have the HQ symbol on their dataslate

Edit: I don't see a faction listed in the WD profiles, so you're saying this would be a legal HQ choice for any army?

Look at the chaos icon above name. That is the Chaos Daemon icon as per the faction list under the ally matrix.
