So I think I've finally found a Fett build that I like. Looking for thoughts and help playtesting a few options. The basic idea is that he's super flexible, but always stressed (and so effectively immune to stress).

Base upgrade build is
Stay on Target - Elite
Outlaw Tech - Crew
Anti-pursuit lasers - Mod
Inertial Dampeners - Illicit
Seismic Charges - Bomb

Basically set the dial to a red maneuver every turn so that there is no chance of doing a non-red maneuver. Wait until everyone under PS has acted... set dial for optimum targets and to set opponent ships to run into Fett on their next turn (Anti-pursuit lasers). With that flexibility, seismic charges seem like they should be useful at least once. I'm sticking the inertial dampeners on there for yet another option for flexibility and so that opponents can't assume that he's going to move. While he'll only ever get a focus token each turn (Outlaw Tech), the ability to select the move path late in the turn should almost assure that he's within range 1 of at least one opposing ship to get the pilot card re-rolls.
Overall, I feel like he'll give a lot of good options and really mess with opponent's plans.
I kind of want to add a cannon, but can't decide if it's worth it... HLC, Ion, and Mangler all feel like they could have a place.

Thoughts? Help playtesting?

How are you shedding the stress to make another red maneuver? I didn't think you could do a red maneuver when you're already stressed.

You are correct. If you try to perform a red maneuver while stressed your opponent gets to set your dial to any non-red maneuver (usually putting you onto an asteroid or off the table). There is a bit of ambiguity with the exact wording of how this interacts with stay on target, but the choice is between "your opponent sets your dial" and "the game breaks so you can't use SoT while stressed". There is no reasonable interpretation of the rule that lets you use SoT every turn and ignore the fact that you're already stressed.

There is no such thing as a hobby without politics. "Leave politics at the door" is itself a political statement, an endorsement of the status quo and an attempt to silence dissenting voices.
