I have a tournament coming up and was curious what your thoughts are on my list. I'm not a super competitive player but don't want to be totally steam rolled. I will be playing Astra Militarum with a primary detachment of Imperial knights in the Adamantine lance formation.

I'm totally defenseless against psykers but I would rather have a very strong hammer to try and quickly kill any psykers or things that could get though my armor. The only army I am concerned about fighting are daemons. Greater daemons that fly are very annoying.

Unless it's an IK special rule or if the rules had changed when I wasn't looking, you can't have the warlord be from the allied detachment in a typical combined arms detachment. It'll have to be the tank commander, but pref. enemy on a vanq would be nice, making sure nearby troops don't run is meh decent, but OUTFLANKING SOME KNIGHTS RIGHT INTO THE ENEMY'S EXPOSED WEAKPOINT: priceless.
