Hi everyone,

We're still very much in the beginner camp - but back when we were even *greener* (6 months ago) we had been watching a lot of Beat Matt Batreps on Youtube (trying to figure out rules and strategies). And, from this, we then had the idea to e-mail Matt and ask him if he would accept a challenge if we could fly our 40K army/armies up to Welland, Ontario.

So, we did e-mail Matt - and turns out he was (and is) totally open to the idea. We traveled up there and played him twice last weekend. We ended up having a great time. It was a little bit nail-biting to get our army/armies up there - but all worked out in the end. (Here's a link to how to challenge Matt.... http://www.miniwargaming.com/challenge)

Was fun to verify a whole new idea on how to play 40K for us.... We had lined up a school break with our flight/trip to Canada. And, this turned out to be a great way to do things. We'll try certainly eager to try this again in the future -- align vacation, travel and time off with ways to play.
