I tried to paint it as if the light was coming directly from above, and have the black armour's edge reflect the light...I think I did all right for a first time.

And my camera is a relic from the Dark Age of Technology, AKA the 1990s.

Hard to see the detail with the camera. Is there a way you could get better lighting?

Keeping in mind that most of what cannot be seen from on high was kept black/dark..We can see a bit more here thought, mostly the fatigues on the Sarge's chainsword arm, and the greyish top half of their Armour.

Wouldn't "relic from the dark age of technology" mean its advanced beyond our understanding? Maybe "toaster stc broken by curious mechanicus" would better describe it
Regardless, I like the highlights around the curiass, but it almost looks like their is a notably thick amount of paint on the far left model. It could be the lighting though

It's the light, I looked it close, and there's not much as the tohers.

I also just saw that I forgot to do the scope lenses..

additional osl on the plasma, redo the edge highlight cuz it looks way to thick, and please paint the bases and add some grass tufts( NO not the static grass, this SUCKS)

Has anyone experimented with crossing a Tempestus kit with a Cadian squad kit in a sort of classical Kasrkin conversion? That's next on my list.
