Im planning a bike off VS my friends Dark Angles Ravenwing. He has about 30 bikers with Sammuel and all the usual gubbinz that go with that setup.

I cant manage nearly that many bikes with my Orks but thought it'd be fun to try.
I have two options for a list:
One is using the actual bikes I have supplimented by a wagon rush.

Any ideas or tactics are welcome. I have never used a Speed Freak list.

You could try mounting Tyranid Warriors on bikes. That’d be unexpected!

Sorry, can’t offer much in the way of advice on ork bike lists. If you have to choose between a list with a lot of proxies, and one without, err on the side of WYSWYG, IMHO. YMMV.

Nob bikers are awful for their point cost. You can't borrow some to try out a real mob of bikes? Because if you run Zadsnark we can take them as troops giving you all the bikes you could ever want.

But...nob bikers should never be purchased in this edition until we get maybe a formation or something to make them viable. Otherwise they are more than double the cost of a warbiker almost 3 times in fact. So for the cost of 10 nob bikers with no upgrades you can almost get 30warbikers...

So if models are the problem I buy boxes of boys, then used dark vengeance dark angels for 1-2 dollars and kit bash. Cheap warbikers.

So take Zad and just make all the bikes I have into normal bikers? Any nob bikers at all for a bit of extra oomph / support Zad?

No. They are never better.

Biker nobz have some uses. But they're quite expensive. You might still consider them when you're out of troop/FA slots for bikers. Or when you want hidden klaws / skorchas.
