Just got out of the Marines and My Wife just got new orders assigning us to Miami (Coast guard) so how is the gaming scene down there? specifically I play 40K. ORKZ!

I come in peace. I didn't bring artillery. But I'm pleading with you, with tears in my eyes: If you mess with me, I'll kill you all

The gaming scene in Miami is quite solid. I'm farther north (Tampa area) but I know a lot of gamers from Miami, theyre a good bunch. I'd recommend the Paradox 40k group if you want to talk/meet with local players.

Sunshine Comics seems to be where everyone congregates. I've never been myself (too far north) but I've heard good things.

jifel, how is the scene in Tampa in the wake of Anthem closing?

Yes, Sunshine is the standard. They're on Bird Road just west of the Palmetto (826) in the same plaza with McDonald's.

I haven't been in 4 years or so, the place used to be an absolute pigsty, HOWEVER I'm told by friends who currently go to play there say it has been cleaned up quite a bit.
