I'm trying to figure out a good way to proxy 2 or 3 maulerfiends for a game on Saturday. I've never used them to this point, but I'm trying something new out with the Khorne Daemonkin Codex and a few Maulers are the only thing I'm missing. My buddy doesn't care however I decide to do it, so that isn't an issue. I'm just trying to think of the best way to go about it with as little prep involved as possible. I'm thinking of doing something like sizing an image of a Maulerfiend, printing it out, gluing it to a piece of foamboard, then cutting out the right size of foamboard for the base. Has anyone seen such a paper Maulerfiend around? Or have any better ideas?

For any proxy vehicles, use simple cardboard/paper boxes, matching the dimensions of the standard models, with a photo of what they count-as stuck on top - that should avoid any in-game arguments or confusion.

Clang - yeah, that's what I'm thinking would be best. I usually like to use a model of some sort instead, but I have nothing similar to a Maulerfiend anyway.

Bubber - yeah, I love that FW fantasy model. Thinking I may get one eventually and it would look great as a Maulerfiend. But I'm just proxying for this game till I can get a few of the model kits. I want to at least play a game or 2 with them before I plump the money down. I have a laundry list of models I need to get for CSM and Daemons, haha.

I'm not having much luck in google, does anyone with a maulerfiend know how tall it is, give or take? I'm not worried about making this thing perfect, but I want it close. Thanks guys!

I think they are a bit taller then a Hellbrute/dreadnaught. I haven't faced one in a little bit, but it might not be the biggest deal, if you stick a box around the height of a dreadnaught and the size of the base it comes on, which I believe is a 120x92 oval base

Shadowrun is the best game ever. It's the only thing I have ever played in which I have jumped out of a shot out van with a chainsaw to cut a flying drone in half before leveling a building with ANFO assisted by a troll, a dwarf, an elf, and a wizard.

Perhaps a bit....unconventional...and uncontrollable at times....but aren't all agents of Chaos?

I destroy my enemies when I make them my friends.

Three!! Three successful trades! Ah ah ah!

I do have three of such chaotic beasties I could play! I think their base stats aren't quite in line with the Maulerfiend - more like an orbital bombardment! And they don't only kill the enemies models... haha

Yeah, the Blight Wheel is an awesome mini, but I see a lot of Tau in it. Obviously a bit of Green Stuff work would help bring it in line, but it's an awesome model on it's own.

One of these chaotic beasts removed my opponent's model before it even arrived from Reserves. Dropped it far enough that his squad no longer had an Icon of Excess. Just because you pray to the Chaos Gods doesn't mean they listen when you tell them to stay off the counter.
