I have wanted to do an allies list for a while and I have had a couple of tries doing a list that uses big daddy knight allies (Imperial Knights) but have found it a bit hit or miss. So I have been putting together various Imperium allies but couldn't find something that I liked the look. So I started looking at xeno armies, specifically Eldar. I'm sure other Xenos (especially Tau) could fulfill my need as well but Eldar are allies of convenience so its a little easier to work with.

What I wanted from my allies was a solid method of threatening AV targets. So the most obvious choice is Fire Dragons. So naturally, I picked something else!! The reason I decided to not use aspect warriors is because while I am going in wanting a specific role fulfilled, the rest of my army is versatile so I wanted to keep that. Enough rambling, here is the list:

I'm quite happy with the grey knight part, I've used it well before but I am unfamiliar with Eldar.

All C&C appreciated.

The Eldar part could use some work.

The Autarch is a good choice for the reserves manipulation (at least I think you can use his rule to help reserve rules for the grey knights). I'd double check that to make sure his reserves buff works on the Grey Knights. If not then I'd consider a farseer to give warp charge dice.

I suggest taking windrider jetbikes as troops so that they can effectively capture objectives and live to tell about it with 3+ saves and jink. Guardians by themselves can't hold an objective effectively without dying to a fart in the wind.

Also, consider moving the Terminator Daemon Hammer to a regular Terminator instead of the Justicar. Justicars have a tendency to die to perls of the warp and he has the same stats as the other members so there's no benefit to giving him the hammer unless you want it for a challenge.

I would combine the two interceptor squads and the combat squad. Saves you 10 points and gives more flexibility. Buy more weapons?
