Alright, I've been painting my nids up like mad, rushing to hit 1750. I'm just wondering if this list seems like a decent, fairly solid, all comers type list. I am not used to the nids at all, my main army is Eldar... so I'm entering a brave new world here.

Anything I should add or take away? Thought about adding another flyrant but don't want to be that guy... Any advice from vet nid players would be outstanding thanks.

Paranoia is a very comforting state of mind. If you think they're out to get you, it means you think you matter.

Problem with only having one Flyrant is that A) he's your only source of AA and B) he will be focused fire to death in one turn in a lot of cases. Also the zoan brood would benefit a lot from a tyrannocyte

2 flyrant isnt that bad, even 3 is not overly cheesy, taking 5 or 6 on the other hand would be where your going really overboard.

For your list I would recomend taking out 1 Zoan to get more devourers on your termagaunts. Maybe a barbed strangler on your warrior squad. Not sure the bonesword is gonna pull its weight.

Automatically Appended Next Post:
Regeneration is overly expensive for a big game, in smaller points game I would say its okay (barely) but on bigger games the opponent will focus the gribly down and kill it before it can do much

Well, some small things, some large...One, Thorax hives are way to good not to take on everyone who can take them. Whew. Two) Regen is almost always not worth it, so on the Tyranno it is 'iffy" and it is a bad buy anyplace else.

Tervigon is borderline over priced, so putting a lot on one is not a wise investment. I usually just add the Thorax hive (Electro grubs) and call it good at 205 points. When I do use a Tervigon, I like to use Hive Commander to Outflank her.

I usually find that the best way to use Warriors is to camp out in some nice terrain, so I toss in a Cannon, I prefer Strangle for the possible "pin" effect (and the bigger Blast) If I want CC out of them, I just add Rending Claws.

You look to have 2/3 of the special Formation from Cryptus. Have you thought about running that? 550 points all told, and you get some nice special rules out of it. (and it is tre-fluffy )

As far as a second Tyrant, it is almost nessisary, solo fliers are too easy to focus on, a pair is more than twice as good. And two is hardly WAAC!!! If you are running a fluffy Formation, twin Tyrants, and a Tervigon with x30 Brood anyone who screams just likes to scream.

In any case, good luck! And welcome to the Hive Mind!

The will of the hive is always the same: HUNGER
