This is the first thing I've finished for my new Eldar army. Let me know what you think.

I like it. My only problem would be the lack of neatness on the cockpits. The color is kinda everywhere, Although its a little bit difficult, it definitely makes it look all that much better.

Hey welcome! I think it looks great and all the better if you're pleased with it. I would caution against being hopeful for excessive praise on this forum though. The other poster's comment is about as nice as it gets unless you are a professional.

Do any of you guys have any suggestions as to how I could refine this paint-scheme? I will mention that the photo makes the model look quite a bit lighter than it really is (im no master at taking pictures in perfect lighting ect)

The colors are pretty pastel, so I would go with some bolder accents, like you've done with the orange. The purple could definitely benefit from some extra oomph, if that makes any sense. I'm not the best at explaining this, so maybe somebody else can help me elaborate(?).

I think that it has a nice weathered look to it. Perhaps picking out the panel lines with a fine dark blue pen would add some contrast and maybe some brighter highlights in some areas where there may be some increased wear to the finish.
On the whole a decent job and if you got the look that you wanted that is all that matters.

Looks nice. I’d second the recommendation about the panel lines.

Another thing you might want to try is some edge highlights on the prism itself, to help it pop out a bit more.

Looks good, nice take on colors.

IMHO I think what others have said about the panel lines and clean up around the front cockpit; and also I think a light wash or glaze with a light blue will be bring the colors together more and darken the lines between the panels. Then again that's just me.

As a beginning painter myself I can't offer much, but thin your paints more I can see some brush marks. Over all good job!
