I added in the Ironclad instead of a regular dreadnought, which is what I was going to go with. Somebody had suggested that before but I replaced him with a regular dread to try to get the points down. Where would you guys drop 46 points from this version?

I know drop pods are good. Lots of players swear by them, but I am really reluctant to use them. I'm not even sure why. But my way hasn't been working so far and I would like to be a little more competitive in addition to being fluffy.

Where is the CM going? I don’t see a good spot to put him.

Assault terminators without a LR aren’t my cup of tea, but they might work for you.

With drop pods it pays to specialize. You get to put the pod you want next to the thing you want to shoot at. You have the 2xHF ironclad to burn troops. The HB is not a bad call for the tac squads if you are gunning for infantry, but I’d drop the grav and go HB/plas, c-plas on one squad. I might also go full melta on the other squad and move the grav guns to the bikes, where it works better.

I would drop the melta bombs on the scouts or change them to close combat and lose the heavy bolter. Maybe put terminator armor on the master so can warp in with rest? And I would drop the vet sarge and power sword to free up points. That unit should be avoiding close combat.

I personally would drop the pred for another storm talon as well. It'll fill a broader roll.
