I was reviewing options for an Aegis, and I came across tank traps and they struck me as a Tau player's best friend. They confer a cover save, don't negatively affect their movement, and make impassable terrain for non skimmer vehicles. The question I had was, they can stop superheavies, no? Knights cannot bypass them by 'stepping over' them?

Walkers move through terrain like infantry I thought.

This may be irrelevant to rank traps however

I am the kinda ork that takes his own washing machine apart, puts new bearings in it, then puts it back together, and it still works.

Yes walkers move like infantry

How does infantry move through impassable terrain?

It's only impassable to non skimmer vehicles, and dangerous to bikes. To all others, it is clear terrain.

I'm 90% certain that super heavies destroy tank traps by moving over them. I can't remember where I read this though, maybe escalation?
