Ive ben searching high and low for information on an hq or any rumors. Im def going to be buying the mechs but i need to prepare a list now, and have no base to start from. So if only someone somewhere has info or leaks about what to expect, ill sleep soundly lol. Any way. does any one have an idea of whats going on?

AdMech isn't Skitarii. And the Skitarii do not have an HQ. Somewhere on the rumor thread for them is a picture of their Detachment. Two troops Compulsory, 6 Troops, 4 Elite, 2 FA, 4 Heavy Support and a Fortification optional. Gives Scout and Crusader but NOT Outflank.

Like I said, you can find the leaked pics if you go back enough on the main rumor thread but I have no clue where. I just store them here on my iPad.

As he pointed out, the leaks for their basic formation don't have a compulsory HQ. I don't think they have any HQ choices.

Force organisation chart has Troops, Elite, Fast attack and heavy support, no HQ.

Wouldn't bet on it.

Yeah this is the Skitarii book, kinda like Militarum Tempestus. We're probably getting a full Adeptus Mechanicus codex in the future. But the Skitarii dex doesn't have a HQ (like Harlequins).

FW has an HQ for AD Mech. They talked out it in their news letter a week or so ago.

FW has an HQ for their 30k Army for the Horus Heresy, Mechanicum. This is NOT Adeptus Mechanicus. Although, the models are very pretty.

if it doesnt have an hq then how am i sappose to make an army? if you read the details of the codex it makes it sound like its a full codex, n im getting hints of a flyer, and a dune crawler called onagar. gues all we can do is wait and see... i know in the white dwarf it said admechs will get a full codex but even harlequins have an hq on gw websight you can buy. and it sais "a whole new codex, for a whole new army" key word to me being "new" ahhh i feel like a kid waiting the last few days before christmas lol..

thats the rumor at least. I'm not sure how much stock I give it as outside the skitarii. the admech is mostly support forces and super heavies. and as awesome as it'd be I'd not hold my breath for "Codex: College Titanica"

Harlequins don't have a HQ. You make an army by using the formations in the dex (none of which need a HQ). There's no flyer in the dex.

Harlequins don't have a HQ. You make an army by using the formations in the dex (none of which need a HQ). There's no flyer in the dex.

well that we know of, still I can't imagine they'd have bothered with the icarus array if they also had fliers. rare are the 'dexes with access to ground AA AND fliers. (IG, vanilla Marines and Tau are about it IIRC)

Even though Harlequins have models that look like HQ options, they are almost all Elites. There is no HQ choice, or requirement, in Codex: Harlequins [AKA Codex Eldar: Harlequins].

We know everything that's in Codex: Skitarii now. The two Skitarii units, the Sicarian units, the bipedal walkers and the spider walkers.
