Hi all,
I've gotten back into the hobby after a few years of being out (with a couple of brief forays back within that time) and have returned to the army that got me into
40k more than a decade ago - Imperial Guard. Although I now see their name has changed! Loading up the
GW website and not seeing 'Imperial Guard' on the faction side bar gave me a bit of a scare as I thought they'd got rid of them. The Cadian 8th paint scheme is one that I've always loved for its simplicity in colour choice as well as the effective look it provides when a host of models is painted to its specification. Sadly, I've never been able to actually replicate the scheme very well. I always struggled making the fatigues look good and the armour was always a drybrushed mess. I finally had another go and I'm really happy with the results.
Please let me know what you think and thanks for looking! Also, I did my best to remove mould lines but after painting I noticed I didn't manage to get them all, so please excuse any you may see in the photos as its something I'm aware of an am correcting with each new figure I assemble.
*Apologies if the photos are large and take a while to load*
