I put in my pledge in the first few seconds but it just kept processing until the EB's were sold out. Really annoying.

As did I...and even had a confirmation that I had an earlybird pledge, selecting the card info I had on file...but it kept saying 'processing' so I thought maybe my card was not being accepted...as I moved recently and my billing address had changed...so I went in to update my card info....but there was nowhere to do this. So I deletde my old card info. Went back to Zombicide, but couldn't get the pledge screen to come up to enter my new billing info...so had to go find ANOTHER kickstarter to instigate the 'new payment method.' I got all the info in and went back to Zombicide and my pledge was not registered any longer...so I pledged AGAIN. By now the earlybirds are all long gone.

But then...they didn't have an earlybird for just the base game + stretch goals, so I just pledged $100 and will get the expansion at 25% off retail at MM. That leaves $40-$50 for me to pledge for exclusive survivors and the like...

These are great. There is so much potential for a plethora of parody survivors (and N.P.C.s). Loving what has been shown so far, cant wait to see a few more of the Holy Grail characters. Love David Bowie as the Goblin King, the Sean Connery look-alike, headless Ned Stark, Jamie Lannister, etc.

Paul Bonner is great. I love everything he has ever done, especially for Rackham's Confrontation. Love that Ogre! I'm glad that they are free stretch goals and not add ons...The other two that are based on Comics, Thrud and HATE, look cool enough, but I don't follow either, and will likely wait to get these at retail. I also like the fact that they are including the expansion tiles and tokens in the tile add on, makes up a tiny bit for the expansion only having two tiles...

I know they never do this (except for maybe Sedition Wars?) but an option to get a high quality resin cast of some of these sculpts as an add on would be amazing.

I'm guessing Merlin from Excalibur (the 1981 film)

I love that Troy has the same name and face as in the Original Zombicide (and is obviously still Ash and Evil Ash)

*Edit - Would be even cooler if there was an accompanying 'Boom Stick' shotgun vault weapon card!

I'm hoping we'll see a Brom guest artist box, but I'm not holding my breath.

Seconded, and Larry Elmore, John Howe, Jeff Easley, Wayne England, and Geoff Taylor.

...and lets bring back Kev Walker, Karl Kopinski, Edouard Guiton (even though he's obviously still a core artist for GG), and Paolo Parente since we got Adrian Smith to do another box.

It's too bad Frank Frazetta is no longer with us...

Anyone on here have Cadwallon: City of Thieves by FFG/Dust Games? Look it up if you don't. A lot of the same crew worked on that game before they started GG (remnants of the old Rackham team) if I recall correctly. They have ties to DUST Games through Paolo who did art for the Rackham guys and helped them get the pre-painted plastics thing going for AT-43 and the Confrontation 3rd ed (which he still uses for Dust Tactics/Dust etc.) and he's the reason they hooked up with FFG to publish the box, board, cards, etc. They are basically using the same base extension idea...I can't be positive they will be exactly the same size, but chances are very high that they are re-using these base-extention molds they set up for the Cadwallon board game.

Notice the minis bases are exactly the same diameter as the Zombicide ones. Notice also, that the Cadwallon board game's minis are pretty badly warped (especially the bases)...they've improved the plastic substantially since then.

Finally, notice the GW 25mm round base does NOT fit inside the base extension to answer the question in the post above.

These ones are just a little bit wider in diameter than a GW base. and the inside diameter is just a tiny bit too small to fit the GW base inside.

I didn't back (or buy) Arcadia Quest...already had SDE and thought AQs Chibi aesthetics were a bit 'off.' Cant really explain it, I think the sculpts were technically good, the style just rubbed me the wrong way... Do the zombicide figures fit snugly into the AQ base covers nicely? Because these Cadwallon ones fit perfectly...

I think the colored removable base covers became a thing when they went with these plastic dashboards...the little plastic pips that track your skills, etc. are color coded to the base covers so it's easier to tell which model is yours when your turn comes up.

Ok, fair enough. You can't deny that they are color coded to match the the dashboard pegs though. A happy side effect maybe then.

Love the evil, fat jester. Not sure I will be pledging for it now though, as it is not exclusive...I'm sure we will get approx. 10 exclusive add ons as we have in the past 3 seasons.

I posted it a few times in the comments section on the KS page...but there are thousands of posts...every couple of minutes any given post is pushed of the page. It's kind of crazy how many backers this project has, really only a small % of them are actively posting...I will have to make a custom boomstick card if they dont give us one though...

Has nothing to do with the plastic dashboards.

Has everything to do with the movement to a single color for the hero miniatures to maximize the detail achieved.

The designers chimed in on the reasons for going to one color, and it seems the dashboards did have something to do with that decision (17:15 time stamp on the CMON expo video 2/2 posted above). I guess it did have something to do with the dashboards after all...

At the very end of the video, there was a question about providing a solution for stacked sleeved cards...since, if you have sleeved your cards you know they like to slip and slide all over the place. They mentioned they have something in the works...they may announce during this kickstarter, or soon after.

The mention of the 'yet to be revealed, high profile fantasy artist and some reference to New Zealand... Could that be Alan Lee or John Howe? Or some other artist associated with Weta and the Tolkien films? My guess would be John Howe as he has some sort of connection to the old Rackham team since he did a cover for Cry Havoc! magazine.

I'm really liking most of what I see here so far, though the new Alpha exclusive stretch goal just isn't working for me with those goofy hands...dont think it will be enough for me to pledge for the higher expansion tier.

The concept art looks pretty sweet, the 3D translation....lost something. The hands are just too big. Stretch goal it is! Cuz no one is gonna want to pay money for that dude (to be fair, the aesthetic is subjective, so saying no one is a bit of a stretch).

I just posted a link to this in a response, did it get MOD deleted?

*Edit - Yes, this is the super-secret-awesome-exciting one....which I correctly guessed yesterday in a post on the last page.

If you aren't a LotR fan, you may not have ever heard of John Howe...but he and Alan Lee were the key concept designers for the films, and he has been illustrating Tolkiens books for decades...
