I want to share with you my wip of Farsight. I tried to do the glow effect of the weapons. I liked the results, even that the airbrush spited some paint that was very old.
What do you guys think? It´s not ready yet, but almost done, missing only some details and the base to finish.
Any tips are welcome. Thank you in advance.
It looks good so far. I think the reds could use a bit of highlighting and personally I would bring the blue's down a bit darker just to accentuate the blue to white glow a bit more.
Thank you for your suggestions. I've been a little busy lately, so I couldn't work early at the model.
Last weekend and tonight, I could work on it again, here is the progress.
I didnt work much on blues, afraid to mess what I did until now.
I tried to change, but was getting worst, so I improved the light on chest.
I was considering the model finished, I didnt know what else could I do to improve.
But, I was analyzing the model, I will do more weatherred/chipped look on arms, legs. What do you think?

I don't and never have owned an airbrush so can't comment on certainty from personal experience but I was researching Space Wolves paint schemes a few month ago and found this painting tutorial that has a nice section on airbrushing swords. In case the link doesn't start in the correct spot, the sword parts begin at the 2:25 mark.
