Okay, after the latest barrage of emails requesting copies (not that I am not happy to talk to you all!), I have posted links for the Codex: Rebel Alliance and Codex: Galactic Empire books. Be my guest;

Oh, and feel free to spread the word and the link...

Some issues I'm spotting already in the Imperial Reference regarding profiles of Vehicles. I honestly don't think I've cared less though. This is friggin awesome! I'm sure I'm not the only one that's going to get some minis to play around with these.

I only flicked through but the presentation is slick as anything, they're really cool. Makes me hanker for a proper Star Wars miniature game, that would be awesome.

Damn, this is amazing. Any thoughts on integrating the fluff into 40k or did you decide it was better not to?

No, we did not even look at integrating the armies (hint: they are balanced against each other not other 40k armies, so don't expect them to be competitive in the 41st millennium!).

The goal of the project was to get cool Star Wars games (the ultimate goal was to do the Battle of Hoth) on the tabletop, using a game system everyone already knew. We spent a fair time designing and playtesting this (Jervis Johnson said we got the lightsabre rules just right ), not as much time as we would have liked in the final layout (this is our day job, and there is only so much time we could devote to something like this).

I think we hit all the right nails on the head though.

Anyway, I personally don't think Star Wars and 40k should be mixed in terms of background, but if you want to take a swing at it, that is what the hobby is all about!

This is brilliant! The formatting for the books is spot on and I love the pictures.

Is there any thought of continuing the series? Trade Federation codex, clone army supplement, ancient Sith codex etc?

Still waiting for Godot.

Hah, so very, very cool.

Depending on how tongue-in-cheek you'd like to be with it, it would be very cool to see some custom rules to go with some of the iconic units.

I was hoping to see "Move Along" as a special Stormtrooper rule! (works like Deny the Witch? A chance to negate charges made against the unit on a roll of 6? )

Right, I think a serious attempt would end up being kind of weird, but perhaps something a little more tongue in cheek could work. Though the only real answer is warp shenanigans of course.

However the real make or breaker would be if the models were compatible. If not, then they are best separated.

Thankyou. Just... Thankyou!
