Couple rule clarifications
1.) I am taking a Farsighted Enclave detachment as well as a firebase support cadre formation in my army. Can the Riptide in the firebase support cadre formation take the Earth Caste Pilot Array Signature System from the Farsighted Enclave codex?
2.) If the Earth Caste Pilot Array is on a Riptide with the Ion Accelerator (or the Riptide has preferred enemy), how do rerolls of 1 work if I use the overcharged/nova charged profile? aka If I roll a 1 for the 'gets hot' can I reroll that?

1) No. The Faction for the Firebase Cadre is Tau, not Farsight Enclaves.
2) Yes, you re-roll the 1 for a get's hot when a ECPA Riptide fires.

In regards to question 1, in the data slate it does not say the faction is Tau. It says that the units are chosen from the Codex: Tau Empire, but so does Farsighted Enclave supplement. Therefore, yes, the units are chosen from codex: Tau regardless. If I use a detachment of Farsighted Enclave, I am also choosing units from Codex: Tau Empire

There is no such thing as Faction: Farsight Enclaves.
That said, the XV104 Riptide's entry in the Firebase Support Cadre lists the options it may take and the Earth Caste Pilot Array is not there.

Just to clarify it's 'Farsight' not 'Farsighted'. I'm imagining Crisis Suits wearing thick spectacles.

This is also easily solved by the Farsight Enclaves FAQ.
"Page 50 - Signature Systems
Replace both instances of 'your army' with 'a Farsight Enclaves Detachment'."
An XV104 Riptide in a Firebase Support Cadre is of course not part of a Farsight Enclaves Detachment.

1) If you make the FBSC a Farsight detachment you hit the problem of not being able to take the mandatory Crisis team. Thus whilst the FBSC formation has the faction Tau Empire (allowing it to be a FE detachment) it is impossible to fulfill the requirements to make it a legal FE detachment, thus you can't take FE warhead on it.
2) You reroll gets hot and you also get to reroll scatter. It really is a brilliant upgrade.
