So this is my test model of my paint plan for 25 Catachans. What do you guys think?

nice!, the camo loooks very good, better even on the lasgun! the eyes are a bit weird... but i am far from someone to even be allowed to comment on that...

Yeah, the camo job on the gun is great.

Yes, I painted the torso with the legs on then the head and send sperate and then glued it.

looking good for a first army. Though with Imperial guard, don't paint the eyes. They almost always come out looking odd, and the best way to do eyes takes forever when you are on your 67th model.

Yeah, not sure if my OCD will allow me to not paint the eyes lol

Awesome! A man after my own heart! Catachans were my first army as well. Not many people play catachan. There's a boatload of pix in my gallery. Definitely paint the eyes. It's good practice. And the 67th time you do it will considerably faster than the 12th. good luck!!

Yeah, I am a disabled Afghan war veteran. PTSD with a touch of OCD make me just have to paint the eyes LOL. Also, yes I love the Catachans and the the other IG/AM armies. I am so surprised I never seen this hobby before. Now my wife had another reason to nag me!

Yes, I do love the many aspects of this hobby. I almost finished reading the book "15 Hours". It is a great book, I have always been artistic. And I love building! I have yet to throw some dice but I am working on it. My mental disabilities at the moment keep me in my house. But I will get to it when I can deal with these anxieties better.
