Has anyone noticed that more codex's are getting 2 wound sergeants?

Not sure about Skitari, but Harlequins are paying more than twice the cost for their 2W sergeants. I'm not sure that more Herohammer is a good thing, but it does make them a lot more useful in challenge (Troupe Masters can go toe-to-toe with a lot of regular HQ units).

I think "mini heroes" would be super fun!

Hopefully more codexes get mini heroes! It would make each squad feel like it really has a leader in it.

Well skitarii have 2 wound models as apprently they won't have Any hq choice so those sergeant can be semi decent warlords

this. it's GW's way of trying to balance out a lack of HQs for those 'dexes.

Yeah, I like the changes to Lords and Crypteks in Necrons. They're the closest thing we have to squad leaders, and having 2 wounds is a nice touch.

and my poor nobs get nerfed by association :-p

I was hoping all marines went to t5 and 2 w for spacemarine to represent their endurance, with appropriate price increase but I doubt that will ever happen.
Though I would love to have 2w exarches, and other leaders it would feel better and make their equipment a little more survivable.
power sword needing 2 wounds or a powerfist needing to do 1 and double the opponents toughtness.

regular humans are T3, T4 IS tougher thena normal human. remember don't compare marines to Orks, eldar necrons etc.

look at Imperial guardsmen in comparison
