While browsing online I read in several place that Emperor's Children characters can take the Phoenix Power Spear at the same cost as a Powerfist. I've been looking through all the books and I can't find a single mention of it as an option for them, only the Sonic Shrieker as a piece of unique wargear. Can anyone confirm this and point me in the direction of the rule?

When you say all the books, do you have the Istvaan legions book? (one of the red books (black in the ltd edition))

Its definately in there, after the legion special rules.

I will be in either book 1 or 2 as well, but yeah its sometimes like finding a needle in a haystack finding a rule in those books.
