It says the unit MUST take a fear test
But what if (like 99% of all units) the unit is fearless?
Surely they still have to take the test? (As you MUST do it)
Is there an FAQ i can find that has this question?

Fearless units automatically pass Fear tests.

Don't over-think it; The Death Mask of Sanguinius can make a Fearless unit within 6" take a Fear test the same way Dante's granted Fear special rule would make them take a Fear test, but being Fearless they simply automatically pass it.

The rule "Fear" itself also uses the word "must take a leadership check." That's nothing new. It's the fact a Fearless unit automatically passes such checks that means you can skip the rolling stage because you're going to automatically pass it no matter what.

As above, and as noted under 'Automatic Pass and Fail' in the 'General Principles' section of the rulebook.
