Hello, I'm building a Khorne Daemonkin list for a 1500 pt tourney in a couple weeks - rules are 2 detachments maximum, I am not running allies just to be clear. need to max blood tithe in this list (you will see what I am trying to accomplish below)
This list will be a lean KD body count list to maximize BT points, please comment see what tweaks or other ideas would be good.
This is mathematically the most units with min squad sizes possible to satisfy all the detachment requirements for blood host and CAD.
21 units - 125 bodies
Good possibility of keeping 6 - 8 blood tithe points every turn giving all the bloodletters feel no pain while summoning skull cannons/flesh hounds/demon princes (no wings) every turn
going to avoid summoning blood thirsters and flying demon princes since rules are not too clear on if they have to wait 2 turns to charge because they arrive in flight mode - so just skipping on them for now
There is even a good chance of summoning a skull cannon on turn 1 if I go second

Those are lots of units but... and this is something I see a lot with this lately MSU KDK lists, what are you going to do to win the game?
Non of this units pack any punch either in range/ccw, sure you'll probably keep summoning every turn or 2 a new unit to replace those that died and buff a your army with FnP, but... whats the plan? sitting on the objectives for 5-7 turns?
I don't know how other armies could deal with this list, but against CSM what will you do if facing a jugger lord with spawns/flesh hounds, a juggylord would probably destroy 1 unit per assault phase before they can even strike. And summoning more letters would still just be more stuff to keep the juggy busy while you secure objectives around the table.

Aim to try and put 3 8-man units on every objective, maybe just 1 or 2 on the further ones from the opponent.
Deepstrike bloodletters to objectives on opponents end.
Spread out the units to keep enemy more than 3 " away and with several unit buffer so cannot consolidate to within objective.
Juggerlord I would tie up with units for 1 or 2 turns then charge it with a summoned demon prince - challenge and kill the lord.

And when landraiders, or imperial Knights turn up what will you do then? KDK makes khonre finally playable, so you've taken that and made them unplayable.

With only 4 blood tithe points you can give the letters rage AND + 1 attack so with furious charge = 4 attacks per letter at str 5 ap 3 on the charge

2 - all BFTBG units get rage and furious charge Automatically Appended Next Post: Problem with KD is looking through the dex it seems that good enough anti armour 13/14 is very costly...
Any suggestions for a good replacement in the list without losing the soul of it?
Best replacement to functionally kill a landraider that is blocking one of the objectives (probably by sitting on it)

You could change some letters for more helbrutes with multimeltas to deal with AV13/14

What this list actually needs is Berzerkers will Meltabombs and some melta bikers. Or at least get a LR so you can have some las cannons. MSU works, but all MSU doesn't work. Its like having salad with no lettuce, its just awful.
