The wolf brothers are the space wolves only know successor chapter, and they were disbanded by the ordo astartes, I don't understand why. Why is it their gene seed is unstable but the Space Wolves aren't.

If people actually read my posts, it's because Space Wolf geneseed can only draw recruits from Fenris. Sourcing them from anywhere else causes horrible mutations due to the Canis Helix and whole "there are no wolves on Fenris" bit from the HH.
