Hey Dakka, here is another 1000 pt list I plan on using for a fun game. I like the variability C:CSM can give. I know its not top tier, but if I can stick to this list with a few changes in the future I think i can figure out the better uses of this army.

too much points wasted on Helbrute. Give lasher tendrils to mauler instead of pow scourge on helbrute.

I dont have much anti-armor elsewhere, the extra S8 hit will make him dead killy that i need if he gets to a vic.

And besides, i used his tentacles to make the scourge, and the fiends tail.

Read about the Helbrute data slates for the mayhem, helcult, dont remember 3rd formation.

So the Helcult sounds promising, but is losing Objective secured for Fearless and rage on the 'brute worth it? do the cultist count as scoring as heavy support and fast attack do, albeit no ObS?

Get lascannon sponsons on the predator if you can, I also believe the clae and powerfist combo is redundant as you only will be able to use one or the other at a time and won't gain the extra attack. As specialist weapons you'd best go one or the other for the best result
