I personally like plasma guns in the drop pod due to the double tap they can get and the apothecary makes plasma less scary.

Ive never seen assault centurions but foot slogging doesnt sound fun. Where you plan on putting Captain Hammer?

I don't think the second list has enough survival/alpha-strike power to be worthwhile... your pods are either empty or just a few models. I will say that Lysander + melta command squad is awesome though.

I like the Knight and LRR at 1500 points in the first list because it's going to be tough to kill both of those.

Lysandar and assualt cents in the redeemer - they are str 9 ap 2 and strike at initiative- should mess up lytch guard etc

Pods are generally coming down as assualt squad and lysandar then the tac squad to grab an objective or take out a vehicle later in game, if I try to add more troops it's no that much better and I'd loose something more useful
