Still looking to get a game or two in either Thursday or Friday after work at card kingdom. Haven't heard solid plans from anyone, and I am trying to firm up end of the week plans for the wife's happiness. If I don't hear from anybody, I will be there Sunday around noon for a couple games at the 750 level. Cheers guys.

There will be a handful of us there tomorrow around noon. 750 points. Sure you could get in a 500 point game and have it count for last week.

Oh I'm not too worried about being competitive in the league or anything, I'd be happy just to get a game or two!

Only found out about it this weekend, so I'm obviously too late. Not that I have anything remotely resembling a completed army right now anyway.

You can still join and play. If you want a chance to learn the game and play against a number of people. Assemble the army as you go. Paint when you can and jus have a good time.

If you don't have enough points to get to 1250 in your collection let it be known here and I am sure someone could lend you part of an army or something. I have eldar and tyranids and would be happy to game with you.

Or just drop by on either a Friday or Sunday and get a pick up game in with one of the many 40k players tha will be here.

Been playing off and on since 2nd Ed, so learning the game isn't really an issue (though I haven't played actively since 5th edition; so I'm not exactly up to date).

I've got several thousand points of Eldar Harlequins alone; but very little of it is painted. (And most of it is old 2nd Ed stuff, including a bunch of jetbikes, and a couple wraithlord conversions. My new skyweavers, starweaver, and voidweaver haven't even been unboxed yet.) Think anyone would have a problem if I used old 2nd Ed Harlequin jetbikes for "counts as" skyweavers?

I'll be posting Week One's scores shortly. I'll be putting up everyone by initials/army if I know it.

I think everyone would be cool with that. No big deal if not everything is painted. We're all just working n getting a 40k community up and running at Card Kingdom.

Are there any plans to start another league like this? I just started building my orks and have been playing with friends but we have alot of questions about gameplay and stuff after a few games. This seems like a good way to get more familiar with the game and our armies strengths and weaknesses.

For sure, and there has become enough of an influx of players in the area, I'm sure card kingdom would support us running another one very soon after this one.

Also if you and your friends want to get games in, post either here, or in the other card kingdom find a game thread. There are many, including myself, that would be happy to get some fun learning games in.
