Just wanted to say that I played in a 1500pt event today that used pretty basic missions. My second game was against a Tau list, and we tied 10-10.

But the fun part that I wanted to share was that Ahriman had Iron Arm up 100% of the time and in turn 3 he did 13 wounds to a Riptide in the open, and it failed all the Invuls and FnP rolls. Turn 4 he used it again on a pretty standard unit of Crisis Suits and they all just went to sleep. Turn 4 he removed a unit of Firewarriors. The Screamers were running around in their mini-star doing their thing, but their 2+ invul was only up once in the whole game so they died before mid-game. Point is they certainly took the heat off Ahriman, who infiltrated near the Tau lines.

I felt bad at the end of the game but once I became happy with the tie I started to remember all the Triptide lists I've faced. Lots of fun.

Next game vs. Sisters I got tabled by turn 4 and Ahriman rolled 1s and 2s for Shriek on every target he tried to wipe. I love it.

Oh and dont think Im bragging cause I'm not like that at all, promise. I was actually there to judge and became a ringer army. Hell I didnt even tell my scores to my friend, who was the T.O. because I wasnt even going to be in the ranking. They were NOT impressive lol. 2 tables and the tie against my Tau friend!

Anyone else have good games this weekend?

I played 1250pts against CentStar with my Necrons w/ Judicator - it was the first time against it in general and me using Necrons; we were testing our lists for a tournament we set up with a couple of our mates.

I won 9-4 after deciding on turn three that I should follow my original plan and play to objectives but holy cow it's legit.

Normally I play Nids and he plays Tau so I always make the 'don't skip your Psychic Phase joke' when he plays...the shoe was on the other foot this time around

I have not seen centurian star at low points.. Brutal!

this weekend was easters, so I didn't get to play much. But a week before that I had 3 games where I got super lucky with new dice. I was doing crazy things like jumping out of a chimera snap shoting a lascannon and some plasma guns at a WK and killing it. Planting paskinator in cover and taking 6 meltaguns and 6 grav guns shots and losing 1 HP, in two turns. Getting charged by 6 bikers and a smash hammer and having my HQ tank them for 2 turns, with a +5inv. But getting 14 rendings out of 20 shots was probably the highlight of it.
Although now I probably have to use other dice as those used up their magic for sure.
