Can Gal Vorbak and Mhara Gal be fielded in legions other than the Word Bearers?

Pretty sure this makes zero sense from a fluff POV, but is it also backed up by the rules?

This isn't realy a Dakka Discussions topic. But to answer your question, they are only in word bearer legion armies. To get them in other legions you would have to use the ally rules and take a allied detachment of word bearers.

There is a way, using the Alpha legion rite of war, you can take other legions units as Alpha legion units.

Alpha Legion is 'that guy' army.
