Is there a chapter of Space Marines that has an affinity for using Centurions? I have always loved the models and dont know what chapter to paint them after. I would love to paint them as the chapter that uses them the most or was the first chapter to use them. Just to have some history behind the paint scheme. If you have anything that is relative to this let me know, I would really appreciate it, and will post pictures of the models as I paint them

Imperial Fists should do great, as they specialize in Siege Warfare- the specialty of the Centurion warsuits currently in use by Astartes.

Imperial Fists first come to mind for me as well for some reason.

Iron Hands and Imperial Fists were the two chapters to first use Centurion Warsuits according to Index Astartes.

I'd go with Iron Hands, Imperial fists or Ultramarines, depending on preferance of colour scheme.

Opinions are not facts please don't confuse the two

I have also been considering Red Scorpions. Since they are gong to be allied with a Grey Knight Strike Force, the Red Scorpions fluff about their purity seemed to fit well with the GKs, thoughts?

Terribly sorry to hear about your vision problems. Have the doctors suggested whether or not there was any hope for restoring it? I'd be happy to donate to your GoFunMe if you don't have good insurance.

Marneus Calgar is referred to as "one of the Imperium's greatest tacticians" and he treats the Codex like it's the War Bible. If the Codex is garbage, then how bad is everyone else?

Because everyone is obligated to have the same opinion on purely subjective aesthetic tastes, right?

I would do fists, hands or scorpions. I couldn't decide on a chapter so I did the Crimson tide and just painted them white on the bottom, red on top with silver/gold accents.

Note that the "Sentinels of Terra" (Imperial Fists supplement) can change the roles for the Centurions (Elite/Heavy and Elite/Fast Attack, respectively). For that reason alone the IF would have to be the best chapter for Centurions.

Imperial Fists, 3000 pts
Evil Sunz Orks, 2500 pts
Tyranids, 1000 pts
Death Guard (30K), 2500 pts

JTFirefly beat me to it. Sentinels of Terra special rules allow you to take up to 6 Dev Centurion squads (3 Elite/3 Heavy Support) and 3 Assault Centurion squads (3 Fast Attack), or 6 Assault Centurion squads (3 Elite/3 Fast Attack) and 3 Dev Centurion squads (3 Heavy Support), or any combination therein...and Sentinels of Terra (the 3rd company of the Imperial Fists) still use the "Siege Master" Imperial Fists Chapter Tactic so Dev Centurions get Tank Hunter and bonuses to shooting buildings. Take the Las-Cannon/Missle launcher version.

I'd say that counts an affinity for using Centurions.
