I'm trying to incorporate the Bully Boyz formation alongside a regular CAD and am both struggling with Bully Boyz transport options and using up the last few points. Here is what i have so far:

Bully Boyz Formation:

5 x MANZ - 1 x Killsaws, 1 x Kombi Skorcha w/ Trukk + Ram (250)
5 x MANZ - 1 x Killsaws, 1 x Kombi Skorcha w/ Trukk + Ram (250)
5 x MANZ - 1 x Killsaws, 1 x Kombi Skorcha w/ Trukk + Ram (250)

Orks CAD:

HQ

Painboy - Goes with one of the MANZ squads (50)
Warboss - PK, Bosspole, Lucky Stikk, Warbike, Bosspole (144)

10 x Tankbustas - 9 x Tankbustas, 1 x Tankhammer, 2 x Bomb Squigs (155)

TROOPS

10 x Gretchin (35)

FAST ATTACK

So my questions are:
- Are trukks pointless for the Bully Boyz? Battlewagons are better but soooo many more points!
- Should i actually put some effort into troops? Perhaps a big boyz blob with the Painboy or are gretchin fine?
- Would I be better going with 2 squads of 5 Tankbustas in trukks rather than 1 big squad in a Wagon?
- Finally, what to spend the last 150pts on, decent troops? More bikes? Maybe a Dakkajet/Blitza Bomma?

Any help is appreciated. I am trying to be somewhat competitive but with some Orkyiness thrown in.

Persobally, I've never really liked the Bully Boyz formation, because you need to spend so many points on MANZ, which are more fluffy than functional IMHO. However, it's still kinda cool, but requires some assistance.

The bully boys seem outfitted fine. The only way I'd be willing to give so many guys BW transports is if you did the Blitz Brigade, so they can scout too.

Gretchen are pretty worthless except for squatting, and with so many MANZ running around, tankbustas seem a bit redundant. I'd scrap those points, and just fill that BW up with boyz and the painboy. I wouldn't bother putting the painboy with the MANZ, because by and large things that with tear through their 2+ are things that will insta-kill them too. Get those boys tuffer, so flamers don't wipe them out.

If you run so many tuff guys, they really need as many boyz as you can manage to soak up incoming fire, and to distract.

Yeah i see what you mean. The Tankbustas are in to add some range incase i play anything that is too fast for my MANZ to catch. Whilst in trukks it would be fine but inevitably they will be popped and I have a bunch of slow jerks standing around. The Bustas have a 24" circle.

I think i may just go with trukks then for the MANZ as the Blitz Brigade requires 5 Wagons right? Thats just too many.

Maybe i scrap 1 of the Grot mobs, add a 20 Boyz mob with Nob, PK BP and throw the Painboy in there. Thats a decent amount of bodies to churn through. Couple of Big Shootas and jobs a good un!
