Hey guys. Im putting together some Terminators and Im having some issues with the heads. Its where the heads were connected to the sprues. Its left some of the sprues on the heads themselves and Im having problems trying to remove those places without deforming the heads. Any suggestions to help this rookie out?

This can happen with a lot of parts. Just carefully scrape them away with your knife or file (always cut away from you with the knife).

In this case, remember that you'll never see the back of the Terminator head, so if it's on that side then you can just ignore it if it won't show and doesn't impede them fitting.

A sharp knife and a steady hand will take care of most problems. Good needle files are also useful from time to time.

Super Sharp knife or cut a bit above the connection point and file them down with a good needle file. or sanding stick

any damage to the back of the Head is next to invisible.

a fresh scalpel blade can work wonders though, just keep away from your skin lol, no deep cuts, just pare it back nice n slow, small bit at a time.

Sgt. Vanden - OOC Hey, that was your doing. I didn't choose to fly in the "Dongerprise'.

I have no clue how Dakka's moderation work. I expect it involves throwing a lot of d100 and looking at many random tables.

FudgeDumper - It could be that you are just so uncomfortable with the idea of your chapters primarch having his way with a docile tyranid spore cyst, that you must deny they have any feelings at all.

I believe his issue is with the vent like openings on the top of the helmet, behind the eye socket area, if that makes any sense.

jayko657 you nailed it. Im trying very hard to keep from ruining the vent effect. They sure put the connections in a bad spot on these when there are better to have them at. LOL. I had to run to the local (35 minute drive actually) hobby lobby and got some sanding sticks and Ive just about managed to get them filed down to my satisfaction. And only one cut from the knife. LOL
