I've been toying lightly with the idea of starting an Empire force but using figs representing ancient China. Anyone know of a miniatures range [preferably plastic] that'd fit the bill?

My Google-fu is lacking and hasn't yielded any inspired results. -_-

I know there are at least some metal manufacturers of Ancient Chinese models.

I'd pose this question on the Historical Forums...it may take a while, but you're bound to get responses.

Or maybe the WHFB forum has good ideas for conversions for Empire forces.

You ask at just the right time my friend:
https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/2104924145/28mm-ancient-chinese-warring-states-qin-dynasty-mi

I also found this:
http://www.renegademiniatures.com/qin.htm
and this:
http://www.essexminiatures.co.uk/collections/25mm-ancient-tang-five-dynasties-chinese

There might be more, but this is all I could find in 28mm.
Also, you might consider asking this in WHFB, historical or misc. forums rather than 40k.

Renegade have a sizeable Warring States range with above-average looking sculpts.

Though really, you would be getting a lot more replies if you had posted this in a historical forum not 40k
