Put this list together today as something a bit different than what's out there currently and hell its named after a character from The Sandlot:

Gold Squadron - Ion Turret
Gold Squadron - Ion Turret

Jake Farrell -Cluster Missiles, Auto-Thrusters, Veteran Instincts
Prototype Pilot - Cluster Missiles, Auto-Thrusters

So there would be two basic strategies based on what I'm facing with this list.

First would be to have two Y/A Teams in which the Y wings continually disable ships and the A Wing uses its maneuverability to keep distance and out of their arcs assisting in whittling down any shields until it comes time to unleash the cluster missiles. Second would be to have the Y wings fly together with the As on the perimeter.

The list has pretty low PS but Jake at PS 9 + the Ions ability to control enemy movement should somewhat mitigate this issue.

If you have any comments or feedback please let me know,

I plan on running this list this weekend so'l let you all know how it goes

Limited damage is your biggest problem. You have a pair of one-shot missiles, but after that your firepower is almost nonexistent. So your ion cannons aren't really setting up kill shots and once they go down your a-wings probably aren't enough to win the game. Drop the missiles on the prototype (it can't use them very effectively anyway) for PTL on Jake (mandatory on a-wings) and swap his cluster missiles for a proton rocket. Now you've got at least one really powerful shot against high-agility targets, and with the points you save you can put R3-A2 and the title card on one of the y-wings to make your control element a lot scarier. And with the rest of the points you can upgrade a y-wing to a b-wing with an ion cannon and tactician for even more stress + ion and the ability to use a 3-dice primary weapon when you need damage more than control.

There is no such thing as a hobby without politics. "Leave politics at the door" is itself a political statement, an endorsement of the status quo and an attempt to silence dissenting voices.
