ok so im taking 6 thunder wolf cavalry and they get 4 attacks each, so id take a single wolf claw and storm shield and attack 4 times, but i see people taking pairs of wolf claws, do they get double attacks? say 8? 4 attacks each weapon? are me and my friends all even playing the game wrong and you only get one attack per weapon? no one i know will give me a str8 answer, and the person im up against sure as heck doesnt want to help me find out. thanks in advance.

---also, thunder hammer, why do people take it over a power fist? its 5 more points, and still unwieldy. thanks.

You don't get double the attacks, but you do get one bonus attack for having the two claws (so if base is 4, you get 5 with two weapons, plus another when you charge) - check out the Assault section of the Rulebook (can't give a page number as digital edition), under the Fight sub-phase, for Number of Attacks.

Note that Lightning Claws (and presumably Wolf Claws? Don't have the SW 'dex) are Specialist Weapons (have a look at this special rule in the appendix at the back of the Rulebook).

As Quanar said your loadout would be 4 attacks, and two wolfclaws would be 5 attacks.

As for the Thunderhammer vs powerfist, the thunderhammer has concussive for the models that don't die from one round of combat that you want to go before or at the same time for future rounds, and for me hammers look cooler than fists so well worth the 5 pts.
