Ork Boy Hangin' off a Trukk

I apologize if this has been asked before and I just missed it, but I couldn't find anything. Ork gifts are pretty cool, but it seems the way it's written that only one can be taken by a model. Of course only one of each can be taken per army, but can't I take the Finkin' Kap and the Lucky Stikk at the same time? SM can kit the SMCM out with everything, making him nigh unstoppable. Alls I wants is to make my Boss a little more intimidating. What do you think?

A model can take one of the following:
What's unclear about that? A model can only have a single Gift of Gork and Mork, no more.

It just seems like that was a mistake. I'm not trying to be Debbie Downer, but why cut the Orks short?

We have only the rules as they are written in the book. Sure, the Space Marines appear to have an advantage there, but the ork book is clear about how many relics a model can take, so that's it (as far as the rules are concerned)

Why? Most codices limit a model to a single relic so what makes it seem like a mistake?

No mistake. Fluff wise, these things are unique across the galaxy. It would be doubtful for the average warboss to ever see one, let alone possess it. Having 2 of them would be so unlikely it's not even worth considering.
Besides--why bother? Just use a choppa!

That might not actually be true. It was highly debated when the space marine codex came out, well actually before that as its the same working in dark angels and chaos marine, but a clear answer could never be found. I originally believed that was ture but as more and more books are published where the option of relics is clearly limited to one per model, not just xenos books either, I've flipped sides on this. I only ever put one relic on my space marines any more.

If you have the ghaz book. If not you're outa luck. Also I asked my gw store employee he told me that "... your warboss can have more than one." Those are his exact words.

Well, my opponents usually don't have more than 1-2 Wave Serpents 'cos Serpent spam is very expensive in real life money.

Only the Orkimedes stuff can stack on a model from what I see but this means only on a model that is part of a W!G formation/foc but then can't take any Gork and Mork stuff including the Lucky Stick. Unlike the Gork and Mork stuff it doesn't specify only one per model.
To attempt to misinterpret the plurality of the word 'items' in the warboss and big mek entry to mean anything more then the plurality of options is a sham, a mindset to try to twist all words and logic for a win. Going to each of the plurality of lists available to the character we see each has it's own paramaters. Some ranged stuff and melee stuff needs swapping, limited number of grots and squigs different depending on choice, can only be used for Big Mek or only for Painboy, and only one gork and mork item per model.
I suppose the same person or GW employee who wants to twist the plurality of the word items in the warboss entry might also twist the same logic in approving grot oilers for warbosses. Not that it makes sense but neither does the misinterpretation of the Gork and Mork make any sense to me.
