The plan is to cast invisibility on the blood slaughterers (hence 'Slaughterstar') and use bloodletters in imperial bastion to shoot down all fliers (given that bloodletters have BS5). Fateweaver, pink horrors and heralds will summon backup.
Thoughts? Comments? My meta is very competitive so any help is useful.

Obviously Bloodslaughterers have their big weakness of being uncontrollable. I would get a khorne icon in somewhere so DS is an option. Consider DS bloodletters with icon and instrument. With impalers you can get into an assault after DS so that's pretty good,

Not sure about the flamer but I guess if it works for you sure.

Seems a real shame not to have a unit of screamers as well. I reckon if you trimmed a few bits down across the board you could fit some in. Then the heralds have a chance of surviving. Not sure the purpose of the greater reward?
Other option is trading out the heralds for a prince with Grimoire, who can fly about and zap flyers.

Bastion can only take one upgrade, so lascannon or quad gun not both.

Also most minor comment ever, but I don't think cultist champions are eligible for an autogun, only a shotgun.

Blood slaughterers have the weakness of needing to go towards the nearest unit but 80% of the time you would do that anyways. Even if your opponent moves expendable units in front of them they're very hard to tarpit due to soooo many s10 attacks. Unfortunately I can't DS the bloodletters because of the imp. Bastion needing their BS5.
Flamer provides some shooting support and is suprisingly durable with 3 wounds.
I'll cut the quad-gun and 1 lesser reward off the bloodletters for a unit of 3 screamers, if only so that the heralds may live.

Is the exalted flamer allowed to take upgrades?

the chariot entry lists rewards as options, but the herald version listed in the FAQ has no additional options listed.

Def take a screamer star. If your Slaughterers go down say to DS melta pods, then what will your offense be? Drop off Belakor, take more daemon summoners and a feth ton of screamers. Take invis on the screamers with a hearld on disc. Its a deathstar.

Also throw the Grimore in, swap the exalted for it.

If he drops be'lakor, then he has no way of getting invisibility...

Nah. Fateweaver has two rolls on it IIRC but its not guaranteed.

Belakor is golden anyway.

DS melta is a big issue for slaughterers true, hence my preference for DS them. Between the horrors the bastion and the cultists, should be able to bubble wrap.

interesting. You could take two decked out Chaos Space Marine Sorcs. for that instead of Belkor. I have seen the rules for him. Its not in the CSM dex.

-I can only take 1 Csm HQ, so no double Sorcerers
-he auto-knows all telepathy powers and has armorbane+fleshbane, so provides great offensive and defensive power
-Screamers are great but with summoning+be'lakor I have enough backup offense
