Hello all, I am sure there are those of you out there that worship the omnisiah, so I figured I would pose a question... The new skitarii box comes with a plethora of head and arm options (depending if you are making vanguard or rangers) which when you build one option leaves you with all of these lovely bits for the other (minus bodies and backpacks). I would love to see what others have been doing to make use of these riches!

I picked up a few boxes last week on vacation and hope to get into them this week sometime. I have a few spare Empire models and some cadian/catachans that I'm planning to make up into a penal legion-esque admech style.

I happened to have an unopened Cadian box, so I grafted on the Skitarii heads and arms. It took a good bit of shaving parts away and using Green Stuff, but they've come out looking pretty nice. I used the proper bodies for my Rangers and the Cadian bodies for my Vanguard. It gives a nice old school "Tech Guard" look. I've got a bunch of Empire State Troops holding lasguns in my Guard army as well... I can't believe I didn't think to put the Skitarii bits on some of those instead. Good idea.

I used a box of dreamforge eisenkern with the arms and heads from the vanguard, then assembled the rangers normally.

This gave a kind of full-body 'power armour light' look to my vanguard that I think works well, and makes them looks very visually different to the rangers.
