The Only Game In Town with be holding an 1850 point Rogue Trader style tournament on Saturday 5/23

There is no painting requirement, but there will be bonus points awarded for fully painted armies (as well as possibly awarding a "Best Painted" prize if we choose to do so). It will be a 3 round event.

We have room for 15 players, so please let Jersey Joe (Firebird4Life) know if you want to attend & reserve your spot. Alternates will be taken as well.

* WYSIWYG will be enforced.
* Stronghold Assault & Escalation will NOT be allowed.
* LoW will not be allowed except for non-superheavy/gargantuan LoW such as Ghaghkull, Logan Grimnar etc... whose rules may be found in their respective codices.
* Maximum of one combined arms detachment.
* Battle Forged armies only.
* No Forge World allowed.
* Bonus points will be awarded for fully painted armies
* You many use Formations, Data Slates, Imperial Knights etc. However, you are limited to only 2 sources for your army. AKA you cannot have SM/Inquisition/Knights/Tau formation all in one army. You can have SM/ Tau formation though. These formations, allies, and data slates abide by the normal ally matrix.

ROUNDS: 3 Rounds @ 2.5 hours each (with a half-hour break for lunch/dinner after either round 1 or 2)

ENTRY: $20

PRIZES: Store Credit & Door Prizes Based On Attendance

Registration starts at 11:30 am
Games begin at 12 pm.

Does 5/23 work better for you guys? Because I've been informed that Kiladelphia would take away a lot of our attendance so we're willing to switch it. We know that 5/23 is Memorial Day weekend, but we figured it'd be easier to get people to play on that weekend than on the weekend of another tournament. LMK.

Both dates are good with me. The later date gives me more time to paint some allies.

Hey y'all, just a bit more information on this RTT:

We'll be using missions from NOVA 2015 (www.novaopen.com) as well as their most recent FAQ.

ITC points will be awarded for this event.

3 sources! 2 sources can be "large" sources, such as a CAD or codex specific detachment, 1 can be a "small" source, such as a formation, inquisition detachment, or legion of the damned detachment. Note that you can take a "small" source as one of the "large" sources if you want. Any "massive" source, such as a Decurion or Warhost will take up both "large" sources.

D will be toned down according to nova:
If the strength D shot is greater than 12" away from the target, any 6 to wound will be counted as a 5 instead.
Any 6 to wound within 12" or less (including close combat) will ignore all saves, as per the rulebook, but only inflict D3 wounds/hull points.
D is still considered Strength 10 for the purposes of instant death.
