Ok so I've just realised the potential of a garantied Invisibility spell for high speed wielding Destroyer attacks in abnormal quantities.

Especially one one whose only weakness is getting killed before it devastes any opponent facing it. Making a Ragethirster Invisible is soooo broken its not funny. So lets make a list to see how powerfull it could be.

Belakors Brings Khorne for a ride.

So the idea is Belakor hides behind some sightblocking terrain if I dont get first turn then takes flight right away.
The 3 Soulgrinders hunker down and hold the line for a turn
The Bloodthirsters can either stay in reserve or go start flying.

Everything happens on second turn though, the Heldrakes come out to play, the troops deepstrike in, the Bloodthirsters either enter play or drop down to charge next turn. the 3 Soulgrinders should be moving towards the enemy.
And Belakor orchestrates everything with Magic from the skies.

If belakor is intending to be the psychic orchestrator , I would strongly recommend some horrors , to keep the warp charge levels high.

The problem I see with your original strategy is you can only make one thirster invisible, so the other one will just be shot! Now that serpents are getting toned down cover saves will have a bit more merit..so casting shrouding and getting that 2+ jink on all your fmcs will be good.

Consider giving the letters an instrument, so that when you ds them in, you get a free helldrake :-)

Was thinking a bit of the same, probably only 1 Bloodthirster and put the rest of the points on stuff that generates extra blood points. 3x 1 spawn, 3x 8 cultists maybe or similar! But you say "turn 2" as your reserves. I dont see any reserves manipulation, this means half of your guys end up turn 3 or with bad luck later. I'd probably say like above guy and get the upgrade on your bloodletters for a better chance! Either that or go taking a fortification with the reserves upgrade could be an idea.

adding instruments of chaos on the bloodletters is a good idea, I have the pointst for it pretty easily by taking teams of 8 instead of 9.

I dont really like the idea of small teams that just die in the off-chance that we get a killpoint scenario, sure more Bloodtithe points is nice but....

Taking 2 Ragethirster is since if one of them ends up dying then the other one can still finish the job.
