Painting some Malifaux Ten Thunders minis, looking for a good skin tone for Asian (Chinese in flavor) theme characters. All of the "flesh" colors I have are various shades along the Caucasian to African scale, with two at least (GW Ratskin Flesh, Vallejo Red Leather) suitable for Native American flesh tone.

Mix a little sandy brown into a light flesh tone. Id suggest not painting eyes either (that is if you do already) and just ink them in

Mix colours. That is a thing that is possible. :-)

For me, the joy is in putting some good-looking models on the board and playing out a fantasy battle - not arguing over the poorly-made rules of some 3rd party who neither has any power over my play nor will be visiting me (and my opponent) to ensure we are "playing by the rules"

I understand and expect I'm going to have to mix. I was more looking for different mixes/ratios that people have used with good results, to avoid excessive trial and error. The tip on inking the eyes was good, I had not thought of that.

Im using Reaper Golden Fleshtones triad. Seems to give me a pretty good range of darker to lighter asian tones.

I'll have to look into that. I don't have any Reaper paints, I have a fairly large selection of GW/P3/Vallejo/Army Painter.

Here is a pretty detailed list of lots of different skin tones using pretty much all Vallejo paints: http://www.coolminiornot.com/articles/1310-ethnic-skintones
