The first thing I'd recommend is making sure each squad has uniform weapons. This is important because you want a squad to be very good at the one thing it's designed to do... a "jack of all trades" unit sounds versatile at first, but in the end you are just left not really doing anything well.

That being said, there are some nice things here. Tigurius is great, and paired with the Centurions will be nice.

I like the scouts in LSS transports, but stick to all ranged weapons (bolters + maybe a combi) if outflanking the LSS, or all ccw if you're looking for some assault potential. Also, the heavy flamer is really great because your BS3 won't affect it. It's great for deepstriking too. I'd drop all the other stuff on the scouts though... no rifles, cloaks, etc. If they are going to be shot down, I'd be worried about stuff that ignores cover anyway.

The TFCs are great in pairs, and so is the Vengeance Weapons Battery.

Now for the bike unit... the Chapter Master is fine, although most people will recommend the Clan Raukaan supplement for the Gorgon's Chain, but some like the Shield Eternal just the same... take whatever you want, Adamantium Will is nice, but so is the FnP boost and the ability to take another specialist weapon, YMMV.

The command squad is usually run one of two ways (I'd always take the Apothecary though): You can go with 4 grav guns to stay at range, although this works better as White Scars thanks to 'hit and run', or you can go with all close combat weapons...

I've been trying out the latter for a few reasons. First of all, you can jink all the time and go flat-out all the time, not having to worry about the repercussions of taking snap shots with your 60+ points of ranged weaponry... Secondly, it just meshes well with the CM taking challenges, leaving some AP2 weapons open to shredding the rest of the squad. If you go this route though, I'd take a power fist, and the rest axes or something like that. I think mauls are a good second choice, but I find that for removing vehicles and MCs (which this squad will probably tasked with) AP2 is just so important.

Hope that helps!

I definitely think you should specialize your command squad like the xTHExCLINCHERx said. Since you already have Grav Centurions protected by Tigurius, I would go for an assault based command squad. Ditch the 2 gravguns and use the points elsewhere.

If you cut the extra gear on your scout squad and LSS, you should be able to get another squad for objective taking/contesting, maybe even with a LSS too. If able, I would give your CM an auspex. Once you used the Orbital Bombardment, you won't shoot so much with him so may as well reduce the cover on units you will target with the Centurion or the Battery.

Where is the second Librarian going to be deployed? With the Centurions too? It seem a little overkill if Tigurius' there too...

Praise the emperor, bless your weapon and pass the ammo!

This seems like a great gun line army, but then you also have your bikes going in for the attack, and a scout squad that can infiltrate. It seems like a pretty good list, except for having 3 HQS, with a librarian AND tigarius its a tad overkill. If anything get rid of either the librarian of Tigarius and add a new squad of something.

These suggestions are great! I'll see about removing some of their gear. I'm a little worried about removing the assault cannons from the LSS becasue I was looking to have as much killy stuff as I can, but since the primary goal for them is to steal objectives I could drop 'em. Thats 30pts I believe.

Do you not like sniper rifles and cloaks? When I run them they work great for me, but I'm always open for suggestions.
I usually infiltrate the scouts onto the board and outflank the landspeeders late game to snatch objectives, and kill things off of objectives. If I drop them and the missile its 50pts.

I will switch the lascannon of the centstar to make it all grav, and drop the grav guns off the bikes. Thats 30 extra points.

That leaves me with 110 extra points or an extra scout squad with landspeeder with heavy flamer + a storm shield the command squad( or auspex on the CM). For a total of 8 obsec units.

Better?

Oh and the company champion MUST always issue and accept challenges so CM probably won't be doing it.

110 points you say? Why not add in Coteaz instead? He is a bit mroe psyker support and stops units from deepstriking in ad killing your centurions.

The company champion isn't worth the points and to be honest neither are the sniper rifles on the scouts. I get the most use out of just minimum cheap units of scouts. Maybe camo cloaks if i'm feeling cheeky.

Why do you think Company Champion isn't worth it?
You pay 15pts and get: +1 ws, a power weapon, and a 6+ invul.
Everyone else pays 15pts just to have a power weapon.

He's not worth it because he can't have a storm shield and power swords arent the weapons you want in the command squad, he actually becomes a weak point in the unit and makes it kind of silly for them to challange ICs that will just take them out.
