Hey gang. I just got first airbrush since I was a kid putting model cars together. That was over 25 years ago so Im a bit rusty. Ive seen those booths that you can buy but those are kinda expensive and Im on a very fixed income and tight budget which sucks. Im looking for cheap solutions to building a paint booth of my own so I can get started on finishing up my models and learning new things with this airbrush. Show me your set up whether you bought one or if you built your own so I can get some ideas on how to build mine. I know the basics of how they work because I used to paint and repair wrecked cars and trucks for a living. So... lets see them!
Nice set up! If I get something like that I will have to cut back on buying models and save up a little. LOL. I like how you have your paints set up to the right. Could you send a shot of that for me? Ive been looking into finding some type of rack to hold my paints but so far I havent found anything that suits what I need that isnt 80 bucks. LMAO. I have citadel, vallejo model, air and some army painter warpaints so my collection varies and I need something that holds all types. Yours looks like what I need.
Automatically Appended Next Post: Also how is your compressor set up? I have an older compressor thats 1/8 HP and when I run it, it will run up to 60psi and then cut out until the pressure drops to 40psi then kicks back in. Ive never run an airbrush like this set up so I dont know if thats normal or if Im needing something else for it. Do I need a small tank for it to fill or something?

I got the paint racks of a guy here on Dakka, He had an Etsy store but it's defunct now. Which is sad cuz I need another rack or 3 for the rest of my paints.
Those are nice racks. Wish he was still selling them. Those would go great with my set up which is a dining room table at the moment. I love your set up. You definitely have plenty of room! LOL. I gotta get my room cleaned up and out so I can get in there and get more room and redo all of my stuff.
