Can anyone who reads Spanish confirm this? I've seen the leaked images over on faeit but they're in Spanish... But it looks to me that 3 dual scatter lasers will now only cost 180 points. Is that right?!!

Can't answer, sorry, but I hope they give walkers something, I love mine and bikes shouldn't be better at shooting.

Edit: just seen the same images and looks like they are free!

There's an english copy floating around now in its entirety, yes they get Scatterlasers as a free swap.

Any model can switch any of its shuriken cannons for one of the following:

- Scatterlaser ... free.
- Bright lance ... 5 pts/model.
- Star cannon ... 5 p/m.
- Eldar missile launcher ... 15 p/m.

They were already incredibly good at 210pts. Why do they need a 30pt decrease? Anyone surprised if this turns out to be true though?

Still 10 points on a Vyper for some reason.

Not surprised. I've run 9 War Walker lists since 5th edition. They surprise the uninitiated but folks who understand them have ways to mitigate them.

Overall, the game has moved in such a way that units can get removed off the table in a quick fashion and this is another unit like this- lots of firepower for a turn or so and then gets vaporized by another high damage output init.

My counter for warwalkers was a podded fragioso with magna grapple and melta. Worked wonders (if the walkers didn't outflank) until they nerfed the magna grapple. 4 to 6 st6 hits, a melta shot and a st8 magna grapple shot. Still works, just not as effective now.
Still didn't mean walkers were too expensive.

Walkers at 70pts with 2 scatters were/are very good for their points. Not OP. But definitely NOT overcosted.

I would agree with both above having run 9 walkers for the last edition; they are damn good but not OP and they have several weaknesses.

I found mine never synergized well with an otherwise fast list but I'm still going to take 6 as I like them.

are scatter still the Str6 AP6 Heavy 4 36" that I remember, or is everone on the interwebs lolling over a changed weapon profile?

They are, they just lost laser lock, they were confirmed in the last white dwarf.
